Praxis Bookstore Group, LLC is a Michigan company formed in 2001 by the staff of the Little Professor Book Centers organization. Little Professor Book Centers is a franchise organization founded in 1969. Praxis is the parent company that owns the Little Professor franchise systems, trademarks, business systems, and intellectual property rights. Nearly all of the services, programs, and support Little Professor provides its franchise owners were originally developed by Praxis members. Praxis is no longer offering Little Professor franchises, but does provide optional licensing opportunities for the Little Professor name and logo. Praxis provides bookstore start-up services and turnkey operational systems outside the "franchise" umbrella in order to offer bookstore owners greater independence and improved economics. Praxis was formed to help people open their own independent bookstores and run them successfully in service to their own goals and those of their communities. |
